US Palma Team Announcement

Greetings to all. It is my distinct honor and pleasure to announce the US Palma Team for New Zealand 2019. This selection was hard fought all the way to the end, and I sincerely appreciate the effort and commitment of all members if the US National team in his or her attempt to make the team. A heartfelt thanks to all, and a warm congratulations to those listed below.

Understanding that we are only allowed to put 26 on the team card and with 27 names listed, one will not be selected, however I will provide support to the names above for consideration to the actual team when in New Zealand. Also, just so there are no surprises, some names may be used in different roles than listed above.

I highly doubt it’ll be televised! There’s not a lot of concentrated, visual action to this sport. It’s NOT like NASCAR or baseball, after all.

BUT the NZ club is quite good at posting each day’s results to the web so that’s one option.

Depending on how things go for the participants (US Teams: Under 25, Palma and Veterans) we ought to be able to look forward to comments posted here, on Mia Rhode’s Life of a Shooters Wife, and even on Facebook I suspect.

Good ideas, thank you. I wonder if there would be a way to broadcast the banter between coaches and shooters... that could be pretty interesting. Get some shots of flag movement, and if the weather's right, catch some vapor trails too! I'd watch that.
