UPS / Fed Ex regs on shipping powder / primers

http://forum.accurateshooter.com/index.php?topic=3819068.msg36249606#msg36249606

Both have be be under a hazmat tag up to 48lbs each, cannot ship in same carton, but can be under the same hazmat fee to the 48 lbs.
Great link above.

I always avoided selling my spare powder, cartidges, etc. because I knew there was red-tape involved in the process. But after reading what that "XTR" guy on that link had to say, I SURELY WILL NOT DO IT. All I need is to get a visit at my residence from some agency guys telling me that I broke their laws...... NOT!!! I've got too many guns, CHL freedoms, and money saved up to worry about losing, via breaking some HAZ-MAT technicalities.

A couple months ago I TRIED to legally ship some powder - what a BS experience that was. Bottom line - if you are not currently a hazmat shipper don't even consider it.

You ARE allowed to ship loaded ammunition through UPS. Just label it correctly. The labeling requirements have just changed, google the small arms ammunition label requirements and a downloadable label will come up to print. Check UPS site for their specifics. Do not go to a UPS Store, they are worthless. Go to a UPS center.
