UPS Bash Bros shipping?? What THE HECK

Ordered July 4th.

Arrived yesterday via UPS on July 12th.

I live right next to MO in OKC.

Bullets loose in box, who knows how many missing..

Wow! If that box could talk!

5 - 100 count 95 gr Sierra bullet boxes just thrown in, no other packaging.

One of the sierra plastic boxes broken open on the hinge side if the box!

I agree. Every single item I have purchased from Midway (and it's been a lot since I gave up on Bro....... years ago) has been packaged extremely and often over-protectively well. That is 100% due to the shipper.

Edit - from the looks of it, that package has been opened and re-sealed.

No air bubble packages? Thats what they usually use and it sucks. Id rather see peanuts

No other packaging included, so they were just rattling around loose in there.

But here is customer service for you... I would bet decent money that if you sent this thread link including the picture that Midway would make your order whole again, at their expense. Not too many other companies that would do that.

I have been totally satisfied with Midway for many years..

No question, the box blew open and UPS tried to “fix it”.

“UPS SUREPOST” uses parts of the USPS shipping system. That box got kicked, dropped, punted, run over, belted, dumped, stacked upon, rolled over and scanned 47 times by government machinery before it got to you. Glad it literally didn’t fall off the truck on its way!

I believe you would find this to be true. I have in the past on the RARE occasion when there was damage during shipment.

And as a side note, before you bash a supplier, call the supplier and see if they will not make it right. If they don't, then you have a case to bash them on a public forum.

I use Amazon for a lot of things. I normally get well packaged packages from them. A few times a year though I get packages that are still sealed and have ZERO packaging! It happens you do not think Larry Potterfield is hand packaging each package do you! SO because this guys experience does not agree with your experience he must be wrong, a liar or the package was packaged just fine and it came open and when being repackaged they just decided to toss the packaging materials away and do not have more on hand? So the evidence we have must be adulterated and not an accurate indication of what happened? Come on! Why would any grown man emotionally invest himself with a company he does not work for, own or have any ties too? I have a Ruger that is a tack driver but I am not so wet behind the ears as to think mine is representative of most of them that leave the plant. If someone chimed in and said his was a dog I would not disagree with him and assume he is a liar or someone between the factory and his purchase of it was up to no good! LOL What evidence do we have that disputes this mans claim? None! So why all the fictional "what if"??? I mean Aliens could have abducted this package or maybe Bigfoot has it out for this guys reloading hobby and hunting of wildlife in the area or maybe......What is wrong with taking this at face value.

It is possible that Midway did a lousy job packing the box and that UPS was playing soccer with this package!

Wasnt bashing..I think there is fault on both sides. Its not a big deal, just a few bullets missing.

I just thought it was all strange. I appreciate the CSI help!

I will bash Midway. I have almost stopped using them because of poor packaging. Boxes of bullets thrown loose in an oversize box with little padding has been the norm in my experience.

You know, I am thinking the one Sierra box that has the broken hinge, must have slipped out the corner and dropped from about 6-8 feet onto concrete and then bullets scattered everywhere.

They picked up the bullets that they could, and threw it back together and sent it to the damaged freight location - where it sat for days. Normally i get 3 day delivery...

Midway is much improved on shipping from just a couple years ago and I have started using them some again.
My "go-to" right now is Midsouth. They pack extremely well, ship very fast and always answer the phone with knowledgeable and easy to deal with people.
