UPLOADED PICS GET DELETED ALOT,WHY?

I have noticed when people put pics in threads they get deleted quite often.Just wondering why this happens.What kind of pics are taboo to put on any thread?

It is the poster that removes the pics. They put a pic on their photo server like "Photobucket".

Then they post the pic on their thread.

Then later they remove the pic from their photobucket account, and POOFIE, it disappears from the thread!

Why would they remove it when it is part of the discussion?

Catshooter has a valid explanation. It can also be that they made some minor modification as to where their photos are stored such as added a new directory on their hosting site and the link that they created here is no longer valid.

Also, photobucket is the worst service for photo hosting too. They had a major meltdown about 18 months back. May of their links got scramble up, so no photo appears, even though the photo uploader did not change any of their settings. Or you will sometimes see some totally unrelated picture posted, which is also a result of the photobucket system scramble up.

I've used Tinypic.com from the start due to this, no link to my pics it's a pic attached to the Forum, not a link to my pics.........

Just a test, see if you can get to my other pic's or is seeing my latest project enough.......

Mike, thanks for posting this information! It's tough finding older bikes that are that clean and original anymore!
