I've decided I'm going to get an Ingenuity Precision Trickler, hook it up to my FX-120i, where I'll just manually throw short of the weight I'm after and let this trickler do the work. This trickler will make it fast and easy and will look something like this:

TBH the best mod for the CM is the Mac D straw or a dispensing tube bush to keep better control of the powder drop.Partially disassembled the 1500 last night; checked gears, connections, etc. Will be loading in a few days to see if it helped while I'm researching my choices.
thanks
You don't need any of that stuff. An out of the box autotrickler v4 has everything you need and works exceptionally well. If you want a test weight (not necessary in my opinion), the $10 variety from McMaster Carr is plenty good (one of my FX120is came with one, the other didn't. Go figure).Mainly a $100 minimum check weight, a suitable boat yes, and a single kernel trickler that’s very expensive. Mine was a V2 or V3. It’s been several years ago.
I like the cleaner appearance of the V4, but still not interested if I have to buy a weight and an ingenuity trickler.
I think I’m making it clear that I’m not bad mouthing Adam or his products, but the guys I know that have autos running how they want them are knocking on $2,000. That’s a lot of money if you’re not one of the 5 guys in the US that can shoot the difference in half a kernel at 1,000, so to speak.
I’ll throw out a vote for the Supertrickler AKA Mr Coffee. I’ve looked at those lately as well and may get it over the matchmaster if it doesn’t require a lot of add ons.
A little farther down the line I mentioned that about the V4. It now comes with a glass cup, calibration weight and doesn’t benefit much from the ingenuity. All of those are a step in the right direction. I ordered one this morning now that it all comes in one box.You don't need any of that stuff.
