This Ones New to Me.
I Bought This Rifle for a Donor Action.
It Has a Trigger That I’ve Never Seen Before.
The Shoe Is Actually Adjustable Forward and Backwards.
It’s Very Light and Feels Great.
I Just Don’t Have a Clue What Brand it is or What it’s Worth but it’s I Plan to Sell it as I Already Have a Trigger for the Action

The mechanism looks a lot like a Canjar but the housing looks a bit different. Google canjar 700 trigger. There may have been different housings over time.

I was just going to say I figured out what Trigger it is.
It’s a Hart 2oz Trigger.
I had to break out the rolladex and call an old retired gunsmith who knew exactly what it was right away!

I won’t lie, I had to think hard how to spell rolladex! I might have even googled it just to make sure. Seems sad to think about that.

Dusty, that's not the same trigger.

Pull out your copy of Otteson...

Ed and alan must have made this one secretly

That trigger looks close to the one I posted but yours has a hole in it and this trigger is solid.

Does the shoe adjust/slide forward and back on that one?

It would be nice to know if anyone else makes one like that in case someone is looking for one

The lady I spoke to at Shilen was very nice and put me in contact with one of their techs. Neither one of them had any knowledge of them making a sliding shoe.

Yes. The hole was put there later to aid in sear adjustment like the hole in a remington trigger. It was handmade by alan hall when he worked there. I have probably 10 or more of the handmade shilen triggers from that era- every one is different. I also have a few modified remingtons changed to 3 levers and hand stamped SHILEN on the side. I bet they dont know about those either

Dusty,
Your trigger shown is a Remington International trigger
