UPDATE: JUST GOT A PHONE CALL FROM MY FAMILY DOCTOR WHO ALSO HAPPENS TO BE MY BOSS (THE FIRE CHIEF) THE ANEURYSM THEY SAW UPON CLOSER EXAMINATION WAS SHADOWING ON THE CT SCAN WHICH WAS OF MY HEAD ONLY. I WOULD BE UPSET IF I WASN'T SOOOOOO RELIEVED. DOC READ DIRECTLY FROM REPORT NO AORTIC ABNORMALITIES. YOU TALK ABOUT A HAPPY, FAT, BALD MAN WHAT CAN I SAY... ****GOD IS GOOD****

Turns out appointment with vascular surgeon Monday is for partial blockage in carotid artery. Not great but better than an aneurysm. Thanks my Friends for all the prayers and well wishes.
I was packing some bullets Sunday when my face (right side)and right arm went numb. Felt like my face slid of my head and couldn't move my right arm. Symptoms passed quickly but was Rushed to the hospital and turns out I had a small stroke. MRI showed VERY small spot of **PERMANENT* brain damage (Sure don't have any brain to spare LOL). By the Grace of God I only have a small droop in the right corner of my mouth and no other deficits. Two days of tests and some new medicine, Doctors believe they have it under control. Of course then comes the good news LOWER blood sugar, LOWER cholesterol and EXERCISE. Anyway slowly getting my strength back and Praising God for the Keeping his Hand on Us. While running all these test also stumbled on an ascending aortic aneurysm. Have an appointment with vascular surgeon Monday. So if you have a minute, Please say a prayer for My Wife (Scared her to death) and I. Please Tell God We said Thank You for what He has and will continue to do
NOW let me speak to MY Accurate Shooter Family who I respect and love like Brothers & Sisters. Being an EMT I see this regularly and knew the importance of quick action. When you feel the symptoms of a stroke ( slurred speech, blurred vision, numbness, confusion, weakness on one side, Words that don't make sense, dizziness ) CALL 911. Don't be stubborn and say "I feel Better now". CALL 911. If you noticed I highlighted the word permanent. THIS is a LIFE CHANGING OCCURENCE. There however are amazing things that can be done if caught Quick enough. TPA will bust a LOT of Blockages and a true Stroke Center hospital can actually surgically remove some clots BUT you have a LIMITED Window of opportunity to qualify for these procedures. If done quick enough sometimes NO deficits remain DO NOT WAIT TO CALL 911 !!!!!!!!!!
Sorry for the long post but please remember it. I got lucky and it was VERY SMALL if it had been LARGE it would have still been PERMANENT
