So a customer brought an FN rifle in .270 into my grandson's gunshop, looking to replace the scope. He got the rifle from his dad who passed away a number of years ago. Grandson asked me, and in my opinion the customer should leave it alone and use it as it is. It's a great periood piece. I took some pics. Does anyone know what it is, or anything about it? It has what I believe is a German #3 reticel (like an upside down duplex "T". It's patina matches the rifle - may be from the 40's or early 50'? Any help is appreciated!
