Unexpeted and impressed

Hi all...

A lot of times you hear about how bad a company is. How there is no, or poor customer service.
WELL... Herny Repeating Arms is not one of them
I just received back my lever action 22LR rifle back from them. I've had it for 12 years. I've put 1000's of rounds through it. Killed many a ground squirrel, shot in any number of turkey shoots.
Of late I noticed, it was not as accurate, and I was getting gas leakage from the ejection port.
I called up Henry to arrange repairs, and was informed the rifle has a life time guaranty. No RA needed, just ship it back for repairs.
It arrived back today. New barrel, new bolt, new outer magazine, new lever, new carrier, and return shipping.... All at no charge.
WOW... can you believe that. Great company.

Gina,
That is the way it should be,...life time is life time but unfortunately all to often that's not the case, I am glad to hear that Henry takes care of there customers and keep there promises, hope the new refurbished rifle lasts as long as the original,..take care and thank's for the report.
Wayne.

They make some nice rifles. Glad to hear that they also back them up.

My .22 lever (Marlin 39a) is 50 yrs old. The way things have been going over at Marlin the past few years, I'm not sure that I would want to send it back to them if it ever needed anything.

I have two Frontiers in .22.
I am familiar with Henry's customer service and it is top rate. Your story goes way beyond excellent customer service, though.

A good friend bought a Golden Boy .22 and called Henry about it. They sent him the scope mounts for it at no charge, and he brought it to me to drill and tap, When I removed the rear sight it was already tapped for the base. Great customer service, and I appreciated their forethought in drilling and tapping it. I always pucker a little when I drill and tap a fine firearm. Small things, but important.

And as a side note, This lady can give the boys shooting hot rod callibers a run for thier money with a 223! Watch out if you are shooting at camp white. This one is dangerous!
