Under $250.00 F-Class Shooting Rests

I was at a F-Class match today and noticed that my rest is out dated, and need to update. At the match there was a lot of Caldwell Rapid Fire rests. Anyone using these rests with luck? If not what other "less expensive" rests are out there that I could buy?

I use mine for f-class and it's great!!

I know you have a $250.00 budget, but hear me out.

Get a SEB rest, you can find a used one for about $700.00 as many shooters are switching to the SEB NEO.

I know for a fact me and many other shooters wish they had just spent the money up front and get a SEB from the get go. It is one of the best rests money can buy, not only in looks but also functionality. Your gun will track like never before therefore allowing you to concentrate on conditions instead.

I you ever get really serious about this sport you will eventually end up buying a SEB or a Farley. I like the SEB even better than the farley because the center portion rotates allowing you to line up your rifle very easily with the target.

Another plus for buying a SEB or another quality rest is that if you ever want to sell it, there will be a line of pople trying to buy it from you and for top dollar.

Just my $0.02

I tried out my Caldwell Rock BR rest for the first time today. Keep in mind that I'm new to this, but it was great. I shot the best groups I've ever shot today and did it consistently.(I was shooting off a bipod before) I can't say what this rest is like against others but for $169 at Cabelas USA I feel that its great!

Ive been using a cowan rest for a while now, love it. Think you would need to spend significantly more money to get something that is significantly better. I went from a caldwell to the cowan and its amazing... Only drawback is that it can take some time to get one as they are all hand built. Worth investigating for sure though.
