I need to start off with a thank you to Dave,Gunamonth) for sharing his samples of Citrinox.
I wanted to go through the complete process before reporting back. Progressing from fired cases, ultrasonically cleaned with Citrinox, then seat primers and seat bullets.
Started with cleaning. Mixed the 1 ounce sample with 1/2 gallon of hot water. Used a couple of cups in a beaker suspended in a wire basket in the cleaner. My cleaner has a heated tank and I started with hot water in the tank. The cleaning took approximately 6 minutes. The cases were once fired and they started off clean before firing. The Citrinox did an outstanding job of cleaning all the carbon from the inside of the case and the primer pocket.
Once cleaned and rinsed in tap water I dried the cases with a hair dryer.
Seating of primers was no different than cases cleaned with other products,CLR or vinegar).
Seating of bullets was no different than cases cleaned with other products,CLR or vinegar).
Overall I was very happy with the Citrinox. The only drawback is the product is dirty when you get through and I discarded it. The 50/50 CLR solution suspends the carbon and it will settle out to the bottom of a container in a few hours.
