After reading Jason's article on the Ultrasonic cleaning, I decided to give it a try. Got tired of the tumbling dust and not getting the case interior and primer pockets clean.
Got the same machine on Ebay and the beakers from http://www.schoolmasters.com/scicat.html
Couldn't find the Birchwood Casey Brass Cleaner locally so used the "Clean and Cheap" recipe to the tee.
Used app. 100 Lapua 6.5/284 once fired cases and the results were amazing. They really come out clean, inside and out. No more brushing inside the cases which speeds things up in my loading regimen. The vinegar/water mix gets very dirty fast and lots of neat little bubbles.
The large beakers are a bit too big for the cleaner bath but make very nice Guinness classes.
Thanks Jason for testing and sorting this deal out and then taking time to write and post the article here. That's helpful.
