Ultimate Coyote Rifle

I've thought long and hard about a suppressor and I pretty much know that if I had to make a choice I think $1500 worth of gas would put more coyotes on the boards than a $1500 in suppressor/threading/ tax stamp would. I've had enough delayed multiple responses after shooting that I don't think a suppressor is that big of a deal.
Counter point, you can get a damn good can for 5 bills, plus stamp & threading.

:) :) :) :) :) :) I keep telling the guys at the range about the 243 Win, but they won't listen. What does an old gray beard with bifocals, a Flip Phone and homemade cross sticks know about hunting critters of the small vital area variety!:)
Really like your response~! In my 84 years I've learned a thing or two including the fact that the .243 is about as close as you can get to the "one size fits all" cartridge. Depending on the world political climate at the time, a Remington BDL in .243 would be my choice. But in apocalyptic times I'd have to go with the .22LR which would fill several needs, 1) inexpensive ammo, 2) trading currency, and 3) no reloading equipment needed, and 4) weight if carrying several 100 rounds.

No flies on that rig of yours.

I am close, I have a RB, LP Savage in 25-284. It reaches them about as far as my SIG can range them and I can shoot.
Update: I just bought a Vortex Impact 4000. It is going on my 257 Banshee as soon as I finish load work with the Black Jack 131's. I am hoping to reach a thousand yards...
