Ultimate Carbon remover

Hi

What is the best carbon remover out there, and fastest?

I am in Australia, and are unsure if I can get GM engine cleaner or a product identical.

At the moment, it will be Hoppes #9 Nitro powder solvent... How fast is this stuff to remove the carbon?

Other choices,ones which I can get) I could use....

AFAIK, GM TEC is chemically the same,for our purposes) as Shooter's Choice... that might be a little easier to find?

This stuff is supposed to be very similar to GM TEC and might be available in marine stores. You can squirt it right down the bore from the muzzle. John Brewer, F-Class Champ, uses the Mercury stuff.

A.I. I have replied to this question on another forum. I use & recommend Mercury Quicksilver,Powertune). The can has different labling here in Australia to the one in the post above.
It works great in my comp rifles, I do use moly, one of my 6.5 H.I. barrels has 4000 rounds thru it & hasn't needed pasting for 500 rounds. I monitor the build up of fouling with a borescope.
