UBR

The first registered match of the 2018 season was held yesterday at the Brock's Gap Training Center. The second will be held this Saturday at the Rocky Road Rifle Range near Jonesville VA. The third will be in our area at Two Brothers Rifle Range near Auburn KY. Currently, there are about 50 UBR matches scheduled in our region this season with some more expected. Hope to meet some of you at a match somewhere.

Was hoping to have a chance to try this locally, but that's not looking good.

Can i shoot sometime?

You know you will be welcome at any of our matches. We shoot at Two Brothers on the 1st Saturday of the month and Strategic Edge on the 4th Saturday. Bring your brother. I think TB is only about an hour south of his place. If you need directions, let me know.

Well i been trying to come shoot with yall for years. I work so much now away from home its tough to make a bunch of matches like i used to. Got about another year on this customer contract that i had to take care of in florida then ill be back around

Ok, I give up. what is UBR????
It's a very competitive game of 6 circular targets on a card w/a center dot that is sized for the caliber you shoot. There are 4 cards in a match. The elusive center dot is worth 11 points for a point value of 66 per card or 264 for a perfect match.
If you think you are a good shot, come and try. At the end of the day, you will know for sure. LDS

can you shoot a 260AI would only be for fun for me, but I do like the Competition

Absolutely, but you won't be happy with the results. The 260AI uses too much powder to fire that many rounds in a short period of time. Add to that the fact that it isn't really competitive with 6PPC, 6 BR, 30 BR etc. Finally, you will be required to use the next graduation target, meaning a .308. This will put you at a considerable disadvantage added to the other things. All that being said, if you show up at one of the matches I run, let me know you are coming and I'll bring the reticle that can be used for a 6.5 caliber. (Two Brothers & Strategic Edge). Where are you located?
