Two F-Class National Championships

Notice –
So that competitors who need to plan ahead,turn in vacation requests, etc) will know, the Bald Eagles Rifle Club, Raton, NM will host the following NRA National Championships in 2007:

1) The first ever U.S. NRA Fullbore National Championships,provisional) from September 9th, through September 12th, 2007. There will be a practice day on the 8th. This match is the old Spirit of America match. This year only there will be 4 days of individual matches, no team matches.

2) Since the NRA Fullbore rules include F-Class there will be a concurrent U.S. NRA F-Class Fullbore Championships fired for the first time.

3) Immediately following the Fullbore matches the 4th annual U.S. NRA F-Class Championships will commence on September 13th and continue through September 15th.

You have the option of firing in one or both championships.

yes, this match used to be called the "Spirit of America" or SOA. There will be lots of top flight f-class shooters there for those matches along with the f-class nationals to be held the following 3 days

We are a couple of Namibians who want to shoot the US Open, but will not be able toshot both matches over 8 days.

Will it be possible to shoot individual matches in the Spirit of Ameica Cup say on 12 September,to sort out rifles) and then shoot the US Open from 13 to 15 September 2007?

What is the situation at Raton in respect of accomadation and meals - on the range or should it be arranged in the nearest city/town,???)? Who must we contact regarding arrangements?

Pardon our ignorance, but we have no idea where to start, so any advice will be highly appreciated.

Yes, you may shot one day of the SOA/Fullbore Nationals. You must shoot the entire day. You can stay/eat at the range or in the town of Raton, New Mexico which is quite close to the range. If you will send me an e-mail via this site I will supply you with the required information. A South African team is scheduled to attend. Perhaps they will be of help also. The Brits, Irish and Germany will also be there. By all means please come and shoot, I am sure you will enjoy it.
