Two Dima stocks lost from UPS

Insure for at least $1,000 and signature required as Urbanrifleman says above.

That's the other way to make sure it arrives. Over $900 insurance is considered "high value item" and will have additional paperwork and safeguards.

The people that manage UPS know where those packages are going. I've had them TELL ME they know.

Remove ANY EVIDENCE the package is firearms related. Plain boxes folks. No firearms related names in the sender box either. Use you personal name.

My stock I ordered should ship within the next week. This does not inspire confidence lol
I've gotten many stocks from him with no issues and he told me he rushed to replace the two stocks that were lost so replacements were in the mail within a week or so. Stuff happens but he's like many in the industry who make things right ASAP for his customers. I wouldn't worry too much and you'll love it when you get it.

On a side note, domestic stuff gets lost too from plenty of carriers, it's just dumb luck.

Also I break the gun down ,wrap barreled action minus trigger, wrap stock, then tape together and put in a short 6x6 box 30" long or shorter. Doesnt look like a gun at all.....

See it's not just guns. It's gun related parts getting stolen too.

Plain boxes. No gun related names. No name brands on the box. Follow the UPS rules. Use ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIRED (yes I have customers that complain, but I'm over it). Insure for full value.

I have customers that complain about shipping prices. I'm actually following the UPS rules to the letter. Adult signature costs $8.50.

I had a customer ship back a barrel for more work and they reshipped it back and then I used the same box to ship it back. The UPS counter worker removed the RFID tag from my box right in front of me. And told me all firearms account shipments get RFID. You can ONLY ship firearms parts on an APPROVED firearms account.

Just packages. Inconspicuous brown boxes, varying in size.

Yah see, the thieves don't want to steal just any packages. Just gun and gun parts packages for the most part.

They do randomly scan boxes for people who think they can fool UPS. At least at my terminal here. They have caught people shipping without a firearms account.

Btw, I think all this stuff about firearms accounts is straight up anti 2nd amendment.

But that being said, apparently it has something to do with employee theft too.

Keep in mind, to UPS, firearm parts are firearms. No matter how dumb that is, that is their policy.
OR, how dumb THEY are!! Unless YOU do a drive and deliver, you're stuck.
Lost stuff? How bout a CLASS ACTION law suit? Bet THAT would get warm real fast.
They would jack up the shipping rates but we already know that.
No issues with USPS. No questions asked. Shipping parts!!
Tracking shows where it is and when it's delivered. And if it's insured, scanned every time it changes hands.

The first step would be to break up Black Rock and Vanguard. Who have majority control of both FedEx and UPS simultaneously. Of course they also can have control of Lowe's, home Depot, Target, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, etc etc etc.

I have a real problem with the whole idea that UPS and FedEx consider themselves private companies yet they use public resources far in excess of other companies and act like they don't. They use my airport. They use my streets. They owe the taxpayer something in return. But they act like they don't.

For gun parts, if they are already packaged in a box no one is going to know any different. Have a prepaid label, slap it on there and drop it off at a counter or wherever you ship... If insurance is needed do wheat needs done. I'm assuming a person can have an account and ship from home via pickup with a printed out label. I could be wrong in how I'm saying this, but it comes from observations. Maybe issues lie regionally as well, via drivers, loaders or counter workers.
