Twist rate question

My next project is going to be a 6BR that much has been decided. The undecided part is going to be the twist rate. I plan to do most of my shooting at 100-200yds. My first thought was to do a 14" twist for the common benchrest bullets. After reading the sites FAQ it implies that a 8" can be used to shoot everything. It would be nice to have the option to shoot the heavy stuff should i decide to try Fclass sometime. So my question is will a 8" twist shoot a 68g bullet as well as a 14" twist will? Is "over stabilizing" an issue?
