Twin Cities Metro Area, Tula Primer Buy?

Powdervalley.com is running a deal right now if you buy two cases (10,000) or more Tula primers they'll cover the hazmat and shipping fees. Anybody in the Twin Cities Metro area that might be interested in splitting that with me? It'd really have to be somebody else local in order to make it work to save the money on shipping.

I was thinking splitting it half and half large rifle and the other half small rifle or small pistol.

The only place in town I know of that has Wolf or Tula is Gun Stop in Minnetonka and he's getting $28 per 1000 (LR) and we'd have to pay sales tax on top of that, Powder Valley is at $24 per 1000 (LR).

Powder Valley has SR and SP primers for $20 per 1000.

Or does somebody know of another place in town that has Tula or Wolf cheaper than $28 per 1000 for LR?

I am not familiar with Tula Primers. How do they compare to Wolf, Federal, or CCI primers in thickness of cup and impact requirements? Are they as consistantly reliable as Federal? I could arrange a meeting.

FBecigneul, In todays bulletin board the add says that the Tula and Wolf brands are made on the same equipment to the same specs ....kinda like Wolf ,SK rimfire ammo.

15Tango, What part of the Cities are you in? I'll check tommorrow (Sun) and let you know. I'm looking @ 5000 SRMs and 5000 SPs. If it works out I could meet you in Faribault/Medford maybe.

The Small pistol would work for me but I really don't need SRM, SR I could be talked into though.

Tulas are supposedly the same thing as Wolf, just different packaging.
