Hello everyone I am new here so I hope this has not been covered to many times already. I want to turn down the rims on some of my 7mm saum brass to fit a standard .473 bolt face. I have been told that this can be done and some have already done it. My question is if anyone can give me some info on this or recommend a book that would give some solid information on how to safely do it. I have access to a lathe and know how to use one I just want to know the proper way to do it without harming myself. The reason why I want to turn down the rims is so I can run them through an ar 10 platform if that matters. I know that it is probably more work then its worth but hey that's what hobbies are for.
Also if anyone knows of someone who does custom rim turning let me know might just be better to let someone else do it.
