Just because you haven't experienced it doesn't mean it can't happen.

Agreed. I just don't think the case rim would tear off, and looking at the picture the case is fully in the die such that the expander ball is not in play.

When I clean my dies (seldom(, I find that I need to take a q-tip and swab some case lube on it and coat the inside of the die with a thin film. Problem sizing/sticking if I don't

How fast does tumbling (or vibrating) with Mink oil on cases ruin the media?

I havent changed it out in about 3 years, and am still running the same Walnut media
I only process about 100-200 rnds a month now though with an occasional
500 rounds of 223 here and there
it doesnt seem to affect the media much.
As long as the cases come out clean and not slick feeling, and no debris sticks inside the neck
I keep running it.
I also put a small cut of dryer sheet in the media to help absorb things to help keep it cleaner.
