Turbo V3 rings/bases

So, I recently bought a new Turbo V3 rimfire. It has Davidson bases. I ordered a new 30mm 40x56 scope. Because of the size of the bell, I picked up some "high" 30mm rings. After putting it all together, it was way high. So I then picked up some "mediums". Put it all back together, I took it out to shoot yesterday, and it is still to high as the reticle bottoms out and point of impact is 2-3" low at 50 yds. Should I try and find "low" rings or will I need to go with "MOA" rings or base as well??

If you're referring to running out of adjustment in the scope I'd suggest using Burris Signature Zee rings with the offsets. Had a simialr problem with one of my rifles & they were the ticket. Had to swap the Davidsons to Weaver bases though as I'm not sure they're made Davidson style rings.
