tuner thread ?

My stupid question of the day.

When you take the tuner off and put back on does it always catch the same thread? In other words go back from where it came from!

Yes, assuming it uses a single start thread. All I've ever seen do use a std single start thread design.

You can take a depth mic or the long stem of a caliper, measure from the muzzle to the end of the tuner and go back to that same depth and numerical setting. It'll put it right back where it was. Or...you can simply count the revolutions from bottomed out, etc.

Nothing here to over think really.
