For what’s it worth, I tweak my tuner every time I shoot and gave away my chronograph years ago. Mike E, what’s your input?Does anyone know if the tuner should be moved in or out with respect to changes in velocity? I know they work, but want to avoid wasted rounds before a match. My Labradar can tell me the change, but not which way to move the tuner.
Rule of thumb is (for what it's worth) When the temp (and velocity) go's down, move the tuner out. Down and out. Move it in when temp and/or velocity go's up. And as always, YMMV.
My answer is what I do with an Ezill tuner on the front of the barrel.
You shoot a couple shots then move it and shoot a couple more. Youll see if you went the wrong way. Ezell tuner only needs a couple numbers either way when you start losing your tune from my experience
