Go for it if you are happy. Most shooting is in the distance between the ears.

Matches are not won by measuring extreme spreads.I not, Than why can you get single digit extreme spreads with a speed lock.
There is more to ignition then the primer going off. MattLighter pin might have a tendency to bounce? More vibration
The heavy pin may transmit less vibration after it stops. I am not sure.
Not many confirmed studies have been conducted. I am not knocking what has
been shown on paper. I just don't see how strike force (fast or slow)
is going to effect primer brisance. The primer either goes or it doesn't.
Single digit extreme spreads is not always the best group, especially at long distamce. Most of the guns I have tested shot better groups at 1000 yards with loads that produced bigger ES. I have had guns that shot 2 and 3 ES and wouldn't shoot under 13 inches, all vertical at 1000 yards. The same guns with extreme spreads of 10 to 15 with other loads would shoot 10 shot groups of 4 inches or less. MsttI not, Than why can you get single digit extreme spreads with a speed lock.

So you are saying that. Primer brisance can depend on how hard it is hit?
