True Velocity ammo

You're dismissing the fact that polymer likely conducts and transfers heat much slower than brass. Not that I agree with their marketing hype; just a mental exercise here (continuing along the lines of this entire thread...)
Yeah. Good point. There's plenty of heat to go around in a the combustion chamber.

My source tells me that there are definite advantages in military applications. Substantially fewer failures/malfunctions in sustained full auto, real weight reduction for the troops.
I don't see much of a civilian market though.

It seems to me for varmit shooters you could get by with one gun instead of two or three . I seen videos shooting the tvammo full auto then grabbing the barrel bare handed

The enemy cannot pick up your fired composite cases and reload them. ...snip...
Brass case head/composite body cases can be reloaded. The body undergoes elastic deformation and returns to the unfired dimension. The base is not expanded under normal pressures. I know of a fellow competitor that has loaded .308 ammo for F-TR. He works for a manufacturer of composite bodied ammunition for military contracts. Just putting that out there.

True Velocity and Sierra bullets unveiled their composite cased ammo. Touting cooler barrel temps and perfectly concentric ammo capable of sub .500" groups! Not reloadable. I wonder how will it impact our shooting?
At the price to buy that is a good question.
