Truck Guns!

Well, I just hope that someday I can ride around with a gun in the truck that isn't for protection. Have only had to pull it out twice in 17 years and once was preemptive but nothing came of that situation, so thats good I guess, lol!

Reminds me, I need to go put another couple of boxes worth of ammo through it, just to get reacquainted. 5 rounds on a 2" circle at 7 yards, double action is my personal standard. First round is #8 snake shot followed by 5, 110gr silvertips.

In order-

Basic 5.56 AR - 55 SP

CZ 223 - 73 grain Berger

22GT - 64TGK

6CM - 105 Hybrid (buddy's gun- doing LD for)

I think the primo truck gun would be similar to the last one. Don't really care either way as far as carbon or not, but a 16.5" 6mm Dasher with 87 / 105 Berger sounds pretty good to me, at the moment.

I do eventually want a 12.5" 6mm Max AR platform for a quick out the window swine popper. They offer 85 grain Speer box ammo for it. I think that would be pretty handy with the right components.

Not pictured - which is prob my favorite - my grandad's JM stamped Marlin 336. Still runs like its brand new.

Love the IRay Thermal!

My 221 Fire Ball, SAKO Vixen in a McMillin stock. This is a recent rebarrel from a 17 Rem barrel. Had this rifle for nearly 40 years. Can't begin to count the varmints that went to sleep with this.

I don’t want to derail this thread , but the Ute is a Toyota 1996 Hilux , 2.8 ltr diesel , 5 speed manual transmission ( stick shift ) , 4x4 dual cab Ute .
I’ve owned it for about 25 years and it is basically indestructible and will go anywhere.
Here’s a photo from a few years ago when it had just got a birthday clean and polish . The P sticker in the front window is because my daughter was learning to drive in it and over here learner’s have to display a Sticker so other road users know that they are inexperienced and learning.

Wish they sold it here in US.
