My sporter stopped working this weekend.
In a hurry, I plugged it in and almost immediately started hitting the button to cycle through the shot info. When I did this the screen shut off and would not turn back on.
I placed a call to Magnetospeed and spoke with a gentleman by the name of Bryan (I think). Upon describing my situation, he knew exactly what had happened and said, "I'll have a new one shipped out to you tomorrow and I'll include a shipping label, just send back the old one."
WOW!
What a stand up guy and company.
What had happened though was entirely my fault. The computer needs a couple seconds to start-up and I didn't give it any time at all. The screen basically became overloaded and froze. The fix requires sending back to magnetospeed.
I write this for two reasons. The first is to compliment Magnetospeed in their excellent customer service. And second to help anyone who may encounter this problem and hopefully prevent others from making the same mistake.
