Trouble with V4 Auto Trickler

Looks like my prayer wasn't good enough and I won't be going to church on Sunday.Went through Bighot's suggested routine and nothing changed. Still no response from Adam MacDonald.
After Bigshots I believe you are refering to F Class John's routine you need to configure the scale.

Success at last. It is now working and dispensing powder. Extremely accurate, within .02 every time depending on type of powder. Varget weighs .02 grs per kerrnal so you can't doo much better than that. Next is to try N133 which is very fine. most likely be close to 100% accurate as the kearnals are extremely small.

Emails back and forth with Adam finally got it fixed. Still not sure exactly what the fix was, and I don't care. it works.

Thanks to everyone here who took the time to help me.

I bet it will be super accurate with the fine powder. I’ve been loading some Ramshot Big Game which is a vey fine spherical ball powder and it has amazed me how often my rcbs uniflow drops it on the money.

Last night, with nothing else to do, I did try N133. Again the V4 and X120 combo were flawless. This is amazing and it is made in the good old US of A. No longer do I have to weigh a lod two times to make sure it is accurate. While the RCBS 1500 served me well for many years, it did drift a bit and had to be reset constantly. I always checked each load on a balance beam scale. Usually had to add powder with a trickler. With the new setup it takes, on average, 8 seconds to drop a load.

I could not get it to calibrate different powders. I was not using the cup supplied and the shot glass was extra thick which made it too heavy. When I used something lighter, everything worked out. The V4 was bought here and he forgot to include the cup. He is sending it to me. I also went back and reset the setup procedures.

Chimin on on this too, as my V4 did the same thing. I found the contractor from the blue wires to have popped out slightly where the V4 connects to the data cable. Reset that and it worked outstanding.

Actually, it is more like 12 seconds to dump a load. Mostly depends on the powder you use.

Also depends on how you tweak the speeds and such on the extended settings page.

In case you didn't know, it's reached by going to the Settings page, and long-clicking on the Close button. Actually, it is even if you did know, I guess.

Don't ask me what all the settings do; I have no idea. I end up playing with them until I get satisfactory results, and write them down for the next time I use that powder.
