Trim length from reamer print

I've done my searches on this forum and concluded the following: my chamber reamer print has a min length of 2.020; a standard chamber min length is 2.025. Standard published brass trim to length is 2.005" with a max of 2.015".

Would I keep the standard trim length specs, or should I reduce by 0.005" as the min depth is reduced by that as well (difference in reamers)

My research would indicate keep standard trim lengths, but I didn't see this question specifically.

FWIW, that's what I would do. My thinking is that it slightly reduces the chamber neck area that is exposed to hard carbon fouling. I think it would also be a good idea for you to verify, or at least "reasonably know" that the reamer matched the print and that the chamber is in fact cut to the proper depth.

I want to know the length of the chamber, not your chamber, I want to know the length of my chambers. I want to know the length/distance from the beginning of the rifling to the bolt face, I want to know the length/distance from the shoulder to the bolt face. If I cut the chamber I know the dimensions. You have a blue print, someone cut the chamber.

If you were a case former you could form cases that would allow you to determine the length of the chamber from the beginning of the throat to the bolt face.

Again, I have a chamber that is long from the shoulder to the bolt face. It is .011" longer than a go-gage length chamber. I do not insist on trimming the cases to 'trim to length', I do not insist on trimming the case length to maximum length. I add the .011" to the length of the case between the shoulder to the case head.
