Triggertech

FWIW - For 30 years I shot a lot of ARs and became used to the take up. When I finally had a bolt gun built (.260), it came with a 1.25lb Jewell with no creep and I just didn't like it. Part of my routine was the take up before the break. I replaced the Jewell with a TT Diamond and appreciate the slight creep before it breaks at 2lbs, again a weight I prefer. I did the same with one of my Large Frame ARs in 260 Rem. I usually shoot both the .260 bolt and gasser on square ranges at Quantico from 300-1000 so the TT is perfect for my use.

I have many Jewels and they are always a great option and I recently put a Special Trigger Tech in my latest rifle and set the weight at 1 lb. I have to say the TriggerTech is a very nice trigger. Zero creep and has a very nice feel when it breaks. I did have to get used to little to no over travel. Once you get past that you can really enjoy the trigger. They offer both the conventional curved trigger shoe or a straight one. I would definitely recommend the Triggertech triggers.

I've had to many of the Trigger techs drop the firing pin when ran aggressivly that I'm just not using them anymore. I like the function and feel but when it's less safe than the factory trigger I just won't go there.

Never tried a custom trigger that wasnt great. I have Jewell, Rifle Basix, Timney and now Trigger Tech. All are great, I do LOVE my two TT's. I just put this one in a resurrected 1992 700 BDL in the classic .270I picked up cheap. And my new custom CORE Solutions 6.5 Creedmoor. The Trigger Tech's adjustment is just cool.
