Triggertech triggers

That's what I was after! Thanks! So, it's really no big deal if the trigger has no bolt release.
If it's for a hunting rifle, or casual bench shooting it's of little consequence. If it's for competition where speed and convenience are involved, you need the bolt release. LDS

I have on on my crossbow, I never thought of using one on a rifle, Jewell has done everything I've needed for rifles.

The Excalibur crossbow version is absolutely fantastic.

They’ve been the best trigger I’ve ran hands down. No creep or overtravel and break like glass. It’s all I run if they make a trigger for it.

Looks like a nice trigger. However, I have a question. I notice the specs. say no bolt release. In all my years of shooting and loading I've never had to address the, "no bolt release" question. So...If the trigger has no bolt release , how do you remove the bolt? I feel silly asking but, if you don't know, you don't know.

jewelers screw driver or small pocket knife, easy.... I have a bunch of 700's with no bolt release that have jewel triggers, Shilen match triggers. I have one trigger tec trigger that I got on a deal. It is ok, but I can't say that it is better than a jewel as I have never had problems with Jewels, except when I popped primers on bolts with over sizer firing pin holes.

I have a TT Special that I have installed on a Kelby Atlas. I am guessing it is set about 1.5 lbs (do not have a trigger gage yet). It feels crisper than a Jewel that I bought at the factory, and was set at 1 lb. Would not hesitate to buy another TT, really like the feel of the trigger.

Jewel's out of the box are not at their best. Pretty much all of them can be made significantly better with normal adjustments.

Has anybody tried or are using the Triggertech triggers in a Remington 700??
I have one on an atlas action and I love it. I have installed 2 in Remington rifles and the only thing I don't like about the bolt release models is when you drop it in the bolt release doesn't work. it drags and you have to bend (or as the instructions say adjust it to work freely) and the steel is super thin. I wish that part was a little more beefy and just worked after the drop in.

If you're on the fence about a trigger, buy the Triggertech. You will be pleased & happy. If you are a Vet, they will even give you a good discount.

every TT I have used comes with a bolt release
I have used about 7 of these triggers now and they work very well.
I have a Calvin Elite and Jewell and I will use TT every time for my use.
If I were shooting comp I would try the Diamond but for my needs the Special is where it's at.

the base model trigger tech is in the same price range as a Timney, I have used a LOT of Timney triggers, better than a factory by a good measure but not a Trigger Tech, not even close.

The Special is in the same price range as the Calvin Elite or slightly cheaper, I like the Calvin but like the Special better

The Diamond is in the same price range as the Jewell but I have had problems with Jewell in field use, they do NOT like ANY dust or dirt, I have friends that have had the same problems so my Jewell sits in a ziplock bag on the shelf

I plan to try a Tac-Sport soon to compare
