triggertech triggers?

Anyone have any experience with triggertech triggers in Borden actions? Any issues with timing ?

Debating between Jewel or triggertech for a 30br benchrest build. These are my main two options due to their availability in Canada.

Thanks

Sorry can't help with the Borden action.
Trigger Tech Diamond will only go down to 4oz. Nice crisp, no creep. Really nice quality for the price.
The Jewell BR will go to 1.5oz. Easy no frills and cheap.
Don't know if the pull weight makes a difference to you.

Jim ,sells Triggertech triggers. If you are having Jim build your action just let him know what trigger you are going to use and he will time it for that trigger. If you already have the action give him a call and he will advise you on what needs to be done. Super nice guy

I’ve got two Borden’s with trigger tech diamonds. Jim recommends Triggertechs (among others) because they are consistent at his designed timing handoff. It can be fine tuned but they will work fine “by default” too.

Give him a call or email he would give you a few other recommended options too.

besides a 4 oz trigger set right with little over travel, creep and side to side movement feels almost better than a sloppy jewell trigger at the best of times

those that have a great Jewell trigger never sell it when they sell the rifle

tom Dickson of bat machine taught me that 21 years ago
