Trigger weight?

Jewell at 1oz.

But I'll be adding a BixNAndy pretty soon, at that weight or lighter, after a few years an ounce starts to feel heavy.

There's really no "correct" answer to your question. Most would probably say yes. However, your shooting style, how you practice and adjust to the pull weight, there many things that can affect how much a heavier pull will affect your shooting. I shot at 1000 yd for several years with a 2.5 lb pull and did just fine. That is not to say high master performance at the National level, then again, I wouldn't likely be able to do that with a 1 oz Bix-n-Andy trigger, either. I have since reset mine to about 15.5 oz as mentioned above and feel it is a noticeable improvement. That doesn't necessarily mean you can't post decent scores or improve with the heavier pull. Frankly, it is quite easy to reset the pull if you have a decent pull gauge. I would recommend buying one of you don't already have one, then trying out lighter weights to see what feels the best to you. If you don't like it, you can always put it back where it started.

Mine is roughly 10 oz, which I like - I wouldn't make it any lighter. I don't think a 2 pound trigger is a huge disadvantage, and it might even encourage some good habits.

F TR Jewel...2 ounces. Heavier seems like pulling a dump truck out of the set up. But I did transition from short range and long range benchrest to F TR and most of my varmint rigs are 2 ounces as well. It depends on what you're comfortable with. I like them light !

1 ounce Jewel. I have shot matches with guns up too 2lbs, but like stated above it takes more time and concentration to pull off a shot with more weight. so they all have 1 - 2 ounce jewels now. I don't shoot any position shooting so I don't see where a BixNAndy would be any better for my application
