I AM GETTING A REM 700 sps rifle not sure if it will have a single stage triger or the x-mark pro. what is the difference? i think you can adjust the x-mark but no ext. adjusting screws on the single stage. if so how can you lighten or smothed the pull on the single stage?

All Remington 700 trigger groups are SINGLE Stage of 2 LEVER design.
2006 to present Rem installs the X Mark & X Mark Pro trigger groups on their rifles.
The Pro configuration has the option of adjusting pull weight by a set screw in the trigger lever,the std X Mark does not have this option.
Both are adjustable.
If you have any doubt or need a You Tube video to adjust a trigger group,seek a professional that is familiar w/ the design/function.
