Canjar trigger issues

I have an older Canjar light pull single stage trigger on my pre64 winchester .308 FT/R rifle. It has started to slam fire on occasion, usually if I am in a hurry to chamber a round during a match. I can't seem to get much info on adjusting the sear engagement or if just increasing the trigger pull would solve the problem. Any information would be helpful.

Thanks
Tony

Tony,

I have a complete brochure for the Canjar triggers, includes instructions for your M70. I can mail it to you to help you out. (Photocopy it if you wish.)

Please return mail it back when you are finished with it is all I ask.

Regards,

Scott

Scott,

I recently acquired two Canjar triggers, one a single stage and one a single set. I have the installation instructions for the single set, but not the single stage. It turns out that there are several screws on the single stage that are not shown on the single set instructions. I'm not one for "turn it and see what happens" so I could really use info on the single stage. Do you have a pdf scan that you could post or send?

Thank you,
Keith

Scott, Hello. Any chance of getting a copy of your Canjar brochure? Would greatly appreciate it! Thanks, Ken

Ken,

Was contacted by a forum member a few weeks ago asking for the same. Spent a few hours looking thru my things, but could not locate it. My apologies.

Scott
