Traveling west to hunt or fish? See Yellowstone NP.

I wanted to get 2 more fishing and sight seeing trips in before it starts snowing. I took of with atv and headed into and around YNP. got home today at noon. The fishing was o.k. had better trips. in 1 lake just outside the edge of YNP a couple of miles all the cutthroat i caught was 16/17" they where all stocked the same size as fingerlings. It was 9 miles in on an atv. wild country and lots of people hunting all around me deer, elk, goats, big horns. As i was headed back to my truck 3 big mule bucks walked out of dark pines and across in front of my ATV. All 4x4 and very nice no bow with me it was a fishing trip. While going threw YNP to get to my lake saw 9 griz 1 morning all out for any food they can get to put on weight to get threw the long winters. On the way back threw I saw 12 grizzly in 1 morning. Think I'm lying I take lots of pic's to prove what I say is true. Also watched 8 wolves chasing a big herd of buffalo trying to kill 1 for food. It was all morning long no kill while I was there. The guy standing beside me on the edge of the road said he had been there all morning watching the whole event and while watching as a side note he and others spotted 5 grizzly as well. Coming down the road out of the park I saw a 6/6 bull elk tending a herd of cows alongside the highway on private property just stopped and watched him for a while he was much in love. Just kept ripping up a lot of small trees what a sight. As a bonus of all the bears I saw 2 where what I understand are black phase grizzly. Look the same color of a black bear at a distance you think it's a huge black but a better look show it has the claws, hump, and face shape of a griz. MFWP had an article that 1 in 10 griz is a black phase I saw 2 in one morning. Visit YNP while out here hunting it's worth your time...

The melting roads has been going on a long time. Last time I went with my brother one of the 'loop' roads was closed because it was too soft to drive on. It opened again the next year. Ranger said it happens every few years.

It is a beautiful place to visit. Problem is the tourists are getting more and more disrespectful of the park. The folks who try to get selfies with grizzlies, bison or elk is just out of control.

All the big parks are suffering from the same pressures and lack of resources. The recent cutbacks have really hurt some of the efforts out there.
