Just picked up a couple more 8.8# Varget to add to what I got in Sept. 399. at Powder Valley. Whatta Hobby!

I get powder from Miwall. Varget 8# $359 and 8.8# $369. 8.8# is the definite answer, 10% more powder for only 2.8% more cost.

Yes, it does sound like Hodgdon is becoming a monopoly, which shouldn't be allowed. I have mostly given up reloading due to costs of materal especially powders. I've been a reloader since 1965, and it use to be a fun hobby, but not now.

Still cheaper than factory ammo unless we are talk bulk 223/5,56.

I started loading the same year and % wise is not any more expensive now than then. Just more fun now that things have been learned and applied.
