I just noticed you have one in the hawg trap LMAO

That started two years ago and there are now several doe / fawn pairs that use it as their bedding area.

Planted 20 acres in 1996. Hired the planting done. Pines, oak, walnut and ash. The ash did really well and along came the emerald ash borer and killed them all. Lost several of the walnuts. Deer kept eating the tops of the oaks when they budded in the spring. So yes, mostly pine now.

We are mostly hybrid loblolly here.
Most of hardwood and cypress gone...
