Trail camera pics

This might be the reason I’m seeing less squirrels. I’m ok with that. Pretty smart, I’ve got this camera pointing at feed corn and a mineral block. The squirrels during the day, and raccoons at night have been getting fat. I have seen an owl very early in the morning. He’s probably all over any mice.

Why, I guess they are nice to see around.
Their numbers need to be kept under control like everything else. I’ve killed three this year that had mange. Plus we have chickens and ducks so they are always here looking for an easy meal.
The fox serve a purpose, wheras wild turkey don’t. I don’t care for wild turkey at all as table fare. I’ll take a store bought over wild every time. And they are obnoxious coming through the woods when hunting. They make so much noise even deer avoid them.

I’m not saying I disagree with even a bit with the culling of foxes, I just would rather have foxes around than Turkeys.

As someone who has chickens and ducks, I can see how you’re more comfortable with the turkeys.
