it was sold out in less than an hour. I got the email notification it was back in stock (like probably thousands of others) and it was gone in about 40 mins. I heard Hodgdon would be making it again, but due to government contracts they are too busy for us plebs and deplorables.

Just pointing something out in the spirit of keeping the concepts straight.

The Trail Boss powder is made at an ADI plant in Mulwala Australia run by Thales which was being changed to support the larger picture, and those changes caused the Trail Boss shortage.

Hodgdon orders the powder from there then packages and brands it here as Trail Boss.
It was due to show up this summer per Hodgdon's comments at the Shot Show.

The processing equipment used to make Trail Boss was changed to make a different kind of powder.

Indirectly or directly, MIL contracts always have an effect on the big picture when it comes to wars and ammo.
