Tractor Shot

Went down and got on John Deere to do some "Bush Hogging." Tractor started loosing power and I called a guy that had worked on it. He said check this and that. I ended up finding a bullet and jacket sitting on top of engine. Appears to be a 45 cal... I looked at the shed where I have it parked and saw two bullet holes. Not sure what the damage is yet. I don't see a direct hit other than on top of the manifold there is a dent.. What a "a" hole to do such a thing..

Well it isn't even deer season!
But seriously, that sucks. Lot of people just wander around and shoot guns where you live?

It’s some local a hole. Here’s the 4 way stop signs about 75 yards away.
All the police have to do is put up cameras. Or sit in woods and wait.

Deere season. Ha. I did not even dawn on me until I was just in the shower. I guess DNR should be called for shooting Deere out of season.

Upper part of New Mexico, every road sign has holes. Some people must get really bored. Or they got bored with their shoot’em up video games, and decided to do some real shooting.

I was going into my auto mechanic's shop one morning and there was a 40 cal bullet with a piece of window glass stuck in the hollow point and it was laying in front of the customer entrance of the shop. The shop is near the hood and the mechanic said that they don't hang around after closing. Too much shenanigans going on. It ain't just country yahoos that are trigger happy.

The signs in Northern New Mexico only get shot when they miss the cars and trucks, collateral damage.

Looking at the return lines, top of the injection pump, and injector lines, it looks like an older tractor. Maybe they're trying go get you to upgrade. That way they can snap up your trade in and have something reliable.

FEF121C5-3A4D-47DA-AAD8-FAB50966A328.jpeg Was working at a dealership service department a few years back. A lady came in complaining about a tire that kept losing air but she couldn’t figure out why. A few minutes in the shop and the mechanic shows me this.

Looks to be about a 4020 Diesel size? About the only way to stop that kinda good ole Deere! Lota points on a 50yr old mature buck like that!

She’s a 2955. Put new tires on it brakes and front hyd pump recently. Great riding and pulling tractor. Built in Germany. About early or mid 1980.

I once noticed a leak in my guest room closet, that turned out to be a 9mm bullet stuck through the shingles and barely in the plywood decking. That was probably someone making bad decisions without bad intentions.
