When I was shooting an AR SR, I'd wait until I had around 500pcs. of fired 223 before beginning the sizing/trimming/processing job. Batch-spraying with OneShot was the only way to go, and for me, it still is.
I've used Imperial for years for heavy duty jobs like forming 40-65 out of 45-70, and for breaking in a new sizing die. Three or four cases lubed with Imperial seem to give a new sizer a coating so that it'll work better with OneShot thereafter.
As much faith as I had in Imperial, I was surprised & disappointed when I tried it for forming 6 HAGAR out of 30 Rem. John Harrison had recommended I use Dillon liquid case lube for that job, and I found that it worked much better than Imperial for this application.
