I got Boyers book a couple years ago for christmas, I dont shoot bench rest, but it is full of tons of incredibly valuable information like brass prep. Have read it a few times.
Boyers written many books?
I remember all that went into doing this one, but I thought Texas10 knew something we didn't.
Is the Limited Edition book any different than the original?https://www.gettextbooks.com/author/Tony_Boyer
Amazing asking prices. I bought this about four years ago at a fairly modest price via Amazon. Here's Amazon's listing for Ratigans Extreme Rifle Accuracy

…and it goes with me everywhere!Tony Boyer has written one book!
To many people think it's just making better ammo. They have no idea how bench manners affects groups.Mike Ratigan's book is the best!
My story I've told before about my first shooting lesson with Tony.
Wife and I drove to Mickey Coleman's place for lessons with Tony. Not much wind condition at Mickeys that day so we worked at 200yds. First thing Tony did was to put a chair in front of the bench to the right of my bench. He said that if it was OK, he would observe me while I shot a group. I shot my group with Tony watching me and nothing else. When I went down and pulled my target, Tony had another target that he marked where he said my bullets hit the target. It really wasn't that good of a group and Tony had charted it perfectly just watching my bag handling. I was a bag squeezer at the time. I said, "Tony, how did you know that my first shot was high"? He said I put a small amount of thumb pressure on my grip. Well, how about the one high and to the left? He said thumb pressure and my hand was touching the butt stock and so on. Incredible that he could watch me only and tell how my groups will form. I remember when he told me why he went from being a bag squeezer to a Farley. He said he shot most of a winter looking for a problem he was having. He found his arthritis was not allowing him to squeeze the bag properly. He is very single minded in his pursuit of winning rifle matches.
