We had 20 shooters at Terrell Pistol & Rifle club for our Unlimited 22RF match. Herb Williams won with a 250-17X shooting his Jerry Stiller built 2500X with a Shilen barrel, Holeshot tuner, and a Rotex stock. Gerald Osborn was 2nd with a 250-12X shooting my old KK300 Walther in a Stith stock blank and my home made tuner. I was third with a 250-11X 1913 Anschutz with a Terry Leonard stock and a Harrell's tuner. In the fore ground is Gerald Osborn, I'm the old fool in the background with my buddy Stu Fuxan.

I see one of your "Shade Trees" front and center. i still have one
of yours, and picked up another BE for the grandson project.
Nothing as fancy as yours but a CZ will give him a good start.
Wish i lived closer. Always a good time.

I built the aluminum base for Gerald's top. Problem with it is you have to really space up your rear bag.
Nothing better than Grandsons, well my Grand Daughters are special as well as my Great Grand Daughters.

I bought one of the early model BE slingshots that were made of
cast aluminum. I had your top on one of the cast iron units. I made
a steel plate for the aluminum model, then will do some mix and
matching of parts. Originally I had a height problem when shooting
100 yards at Anderson Creek with JEFFPPC. He loaned me a block of
wood for my first shoot there. I've been using the past year, a Rodzilla
and I like the way the joystick is extra long. I think i may add a good
4 inches to yours and give it a whirl. Grandson Zach has short arms so
that may be good for him and other youngsters.....

Watch out as it will get into the trigger guard if 4" longer. Our joystick extends 2" beyond the rear leg.

Rod's long stick on the Rodzilla. It's a good fit and easy in the
hand being close to the rear bag. I'll experiment. Us retired tool
makers need to mess with something.....LOL
