Defiance has always been receptive to my calls and e-mails, except for the week before SHOT Show.

But everyone is busy right before SHOT Show.
Had you contacted them with a viable complaint about the feel or operation of one of their actions, they would have responded as usual, send it in for a check up. I'm sure we're not getting the entire story here.
