tikka t3 varmint 223 w/ 1 in 8 twist

i have a tikka with a 1 in 8 twist i want to shoot 75 gr amax's. the problem is i want to know if anyone is using these in the mag or if i have to single feed them.

also, is the hornaday 75 gr match hp's able to b put in the mags. i am just afraid that if i seat the amax's too far to put them in the mag that they will b pushed back in the case too far.
any advise will b appricated.

They wont come close to loading in the mag without seating to average depth, my tikka 8 twist didnt shoot them for crap anyway. ed

i am going from memory here so i hope i get this right. Sierra makes a 77gr bullet that will work with the magazine. It must have a blunt ogive. I have some of these down stairs somewhere if you would like to try some. I think they are 77gr?? Do some checking. It wont have the BC of the v-max but it should be a good alternative

The Hornady 75 BTHP is a mag-length bullet. The AMAX is single-feed only.
The Sierra 77 is mag-length as well.
