Tikka T1x

I bought one of a guy on Rimfire Central....10.00.....dropped my trigger to 8 oz., have friends who bought the same springs and all are pleased with theirs.

No, buy the spring first. It very well may suit your needs. If not then spend the big dollars.
Anarchy Outdoors spring is said to go down to 12oz in it's description, but some users have said it's been weighed down to around 8oz. How true this is I'm not sure, seeing how I didn't weigh them.

I will say this, if you buy the Anarchy Outdoors spring and don't like it I'll buy it from you and pay you what you have in it.

I've got one ordered from anarchy. I'm a jard fan for a savage but I am going to fiddle with the factory trigger a little bit on this one before I pull the trigger on a jard.

Spring came yesterday, results were the same as the yo Dave and no better than the factory spring even though you can visually see the wire diameter is smaller

I had read on rimfire central that some t1x triggers will not go lower than 1.5 lbs, I believe that's what I have.
I was curious if your happy with the way the T1X shoots accuracy wise. I have been interested in one for a while.
On the replacement spring could a coil be cut off to help?

For the price, I'm fairly pleased, wished I could have just bought just a barrelled action, I couldn't stand the factory stock so I put a Boyds varmint thumbhole on it. I wished I could get the trigger pull down to a pound or little under.

On cutting the spring off, I picked up some shorter set screws this morning to see if that helps any. The new spring is actually 2 ounces heavier.

For now I'm lost on two things, what weight the Anarchy spring would bring my T1X down to and I don't remember what the manual claims the trigger minimum and maximum pull weight is.
I did some research and on the internet you always read swapping this spring for that spring.
But on Snipers Hide several have used an AR-15 bolt latch plunger spring to bring the weight down. To what weight I'm no sure. It's an older thread but I may go back in and ask. Always curious. By the way my T1X shoots the CCI Standard Velocity similar to yours but definitely shoots the SK Standard Plus better .
