Nice! Thank you for all you do!

Forum Boss: HERE is the Saturday Showcase Article, with multiple videos

Every Saturday we feature a video showcase with 6 or more featured videos.

Here's one from the 5/4/2025 Tikka Saturday Showcase:

Video maker Backfire posted: "The Tikka T3x SL is an incredibly lightweight mountain rifle that should be in every hunter’s safe. We like it for its lightweight build, stainless steel barrel, superb trigger, and surprisingly accurate shooting. Overall, this is the hunting rifle we recommend more frequently than any other.”

I have owned 5 centerfire Tikka's: 223's lite (2), 223 varmint (1), 243 lite (1), and the 308 Hunter model.

All shot fantastic with tuned reloads. The only after market changes, I have made is minor trigger adjustments and adding vertical pistol grips to the lite model which significantly improved my ability to shoot these rifles.

I take issue with the characterization that the stocks are "Tupperware." Granted, that are not at the same level of B&C or McMillian stocks, but they are NOT junk either like the old Remington plastic stocks that flexed and had to be bedded and floated before they would shoot consistently in the 1 moa range. Even then they were not ideal stocks.

All my Tikka's without any stock modifications shot consistently at least 1 moa and in most cases sub 1 moa which meets the requirements of a hunting rifle, even varmint level. In other words, the stocks are good enough for their intended purpose and do not flex like the old Remington plastic stocks.

The only issue I had was with the 308, the recoil was brutal even with the wooded stock. But that is more of a personal "old fart" issue that any indictment of the rifle. For a field hunting rifle, it is outstanding, but I would not want to shoot it at the bench a lot.

I do not think you can go wrong with a Tikka for a hunting rifle.

Uhhga hated seeing a Ruger American compared to a Tikka on below article.its the ultra economy version of a Tikka imo

Yeah Tikka rifles are definitely easy to get shooting well and barrels clean out easily.great factory trigger also

Finns don't play with there rifles.

sure wish Americans can get back to that and be affordable ...sad times what you have to pay to get a rifle to shoot like a Tikka consistently....even with a Tupperware stock.dang
