We are looking to hire a person to prepare video-centric articles for the AccurateShooter Daily Bulletin. The job is to find 4 to 6 of the best YouTube or Vimeo videos on a topic of interest to our readers. Such topics might include, for example, F-Class shooting, using a LabRadar, annealing brass, or scope mounting. For each topic, the job would include taking good screenshots from the videos, embedding the videos, and explaining the topic with 400-700 words of text.
HERE is the latest Video Showcase, prepared for Christmas Day. There are 8 videos from F-Class John:
bulletin.accurateshooter.com
The specific job title would be "Video Showcase Editor". Initially he or she would be paid to provide two Video Showcase articles per month. NOTE: Editing videos is NOT necessary -- the person will find pre-released videos and embed those in the article.
Here are four examples:
bulletin.accurateshooter.com
[3 videos, 4 photos, 607 words]
bulletin.accurateshooter.com
[8 videos, 5 photos, 883 words]
bulletin.accurateshooter.com
[3 videos, 5 photos, 575 words]
bulletin.accurateshooter.com
[6 videos, 1 photo, 552 words]
Here are examples of photos that accompany video showcase articles. The editor must insert the word titles, using multiple fonts:

The most important thing is that the content delivered is COMPLETE, well-written, mistake-free, and accurate. If I have to fix links, re-write text, do further research, revise photos, then the assignment is a failure. The Editor will be expected to find his/her own source videos, do all the work, and then deliver the text (with links) ready to insert.
Compensation will be a flat rate PER SHOWCASE ARTICLE, commensurate with what is typical on the internet. A talented Showcase Editor could certainly earn the equivalent of $50/hour.
Before you say you are interested, please review these points. Whoever does this work must have good skills and be VERY capable of creating text that is 100% ready to publish.
1. You must be able to type with great accuracy -- In the internet world, one misplaced bracket or quote mark can prevent a story from displaying correctly.
2. You need to deliver the story on time, twice a month.
3. You need to be able to write well and understand how to place URL sequences, like this: [a href="http://amzn.to/2rr1KFh" target="_blank">Practical Shooter's Guide</a] (end brackets changed to allow code to be visible.)
4. You need to be skilled with editing photos so you can grab screen-shots, crop images, and insert text (and often sharpen, enhance, and color correct}.
5. "90% OK" will NOT suffice. If I have to spend an hour correcting your mistakes or items left incomplete, that just won't work.
